Embedding Employability Framework
Enhance
The Enhance stage aims to embed a range of opportunities where students can practically apply their knowledge and skills.
Our Experiential Learning Continuum recognises that different experiences are needed for different contexts and introduces a variety of experiential learning opportunities across three categories:
- Learning about work: a short one-time experience that helps students understand the key concepts, trends and practices relevant to a particular industry/sector.
- Learning through work: an experience premised around an authentic scenario that simulates elements of a professional role or broader aspects of an industry/sector.
- Learning in work: a longer experience where students apply their disciplinary knowledge and/or disciplinary & future skills developed as part of their studies within the workplace
