Deleting old websites
Once you have migrated your website into the new structure you should contact the webteam and request that your old website is deleted. The web team will:
- Delete and archive your website. Google will cease to index your old site within two weeks.
- Redirect all traffic from the old web address to the new web address. This will ensure that bookmarked links and web addresses within printed publications still work.
- Old sites generated from t4 will exist within t4 as 'inactive' content.
