About us
The International Business, Entrepreneurship & Society (IBES) cluster is a leading interdisciplinary community exploring the dynamic relationship between global business, entrepreneurship and society. We are committed to producing world-class research, teaching and knowledge exchange that is both globally informed and socially engaged.
Our research is organised around several core streams, including:
- International entrepreneurship and SME internationalisation
- Global forces, multinationals and business schools
- Emerging technologies and entrepreneurship
- sustainable entrepreneurship
We maintain strong interdisciplinary links with fields such as Organisation Studies, Development Studies, Political Economy and Business and Society. We also collaborate with businesses, governments and communities to understand how entrepreneurial and international business activity can contribute to more just and sustainable futures. Our work is supported by a range of funders and speaks to academic, policy and wider audiences.
