CENTRE FOR PARASITOLOGY HOSTS BSP 2026 SPRING MEETING
The Centre for Parasitology welcomed more than 345 delegates, students, and researchers to the British Society for Parasitology annual spring meeting at the University of Glasgow from 7–9 April. The event featured scientific sessions, workshops, and international collaboration, with organisation led by Sii pair Prof Lilach Sheiner and Dr Joanne Power. -

Sii-led research project secures £22,000 funding award
A research project led by Sii's Dr Rebecca McHugh has been awarded £22,000 in funding from the Hannah Dairy Foundation. The work will address neonatal calf diarrhoea - the most common disease affecting young dairy calves, and a major concern for animal welfare and farm productivity.
